Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended the first session after Eid Al-Adha vacation in the green territory.
The benchmark index, EGX30, rose by 2.44% to close at 27,062.37 points, while the new Shariah index increased by 2.60% to end at 2,677.59 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI and EGX100 EWI indices closed the session higher by 2.93% at 6,103.30 points and by 2.98% at 8,810.84 points, respectively.
The trading value stood at EGP 2.93 billion after 1.03 billion shares were exchanged during the session, while the market cap value reached EGP 1.83 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the foreign and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 112.46 million and EGP 51.15 million, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 163.62 million.
